VISAS

Visas are authorizations to remain in the United States temporarily given to those whom wish to come without the intent of remaining permanently into the US. There are as many visas as letters in the abecedary; we will divide them by groups based on the intent of the visit.

- VISIT TEMPORARILY NOT TO WORK-

If you live abroad, in any of the countries that require a pre-approved visa, you can request one or someone can request one for you in the US. Therefore, you can request your own visa, or have someone you know in the United States request it for you in the US.

These visas are usually authorized for people who wish to visit the US for pleasure, or for small business meetings. They do not authorize to work or get paid for any service provided.

-FIANCE OR SPOUSE VISAS-

Sometimes people fall in love with someone outside the United States; be it via internet chat or because they visited the country, or any other way.

In those cases, the US Citizen can request for it's fiance to come to the United States to marry him; or marry that person abroad and bring it into the United States legally. Both methods are complicated and have various strict requirements. This type of visa used to be easy to acquire, untill some mail-order-bride business started prostituting. We can help you navigate with ease this complicated process. Usually if the fiance or spouse has children they are also authorized to come also; after all the process is not designed to separate families but unite them.

-VISIT TO WORK AND GET PAID-

Other of these visas authorize you to work temporarily due to your expertise if you are a model, a celebrity, a musician, a news reporter, or some other type of worker who will get paid in the US for a service they will provide in the US. These are different visas than those given to people who come for pleasure or small business meetings because they allow you to stay for a short while and work on the project you have been hired for.

Other work related visas authorize the person to remain in the US for long periods of time, and renew it while in US various times. These are known as the "H" visas. These are commonly for people with special higher education, although some are for people with a lower level of education.

Finally, there are those visas that let you work in US as part of an exchage be it cultural or corporate. These visas allow employees from another branch-office to come to work in US temporarily; or allow the person to come work in US as part of a cultural exchange program. Very few of these visas allow renewal.

-VISIT AS INVESTOR-

These visas are granted to those who wish to come to US to invest money in various ways. Some require the creation of a business with employees, other require investment in properties. All generally require a minimal investment of aproximately $500,000; some require the creation of a minimal of 100 jobs.

Other investor visas are granted to individuals from countries whom have a trade agreement with the US. These visas have different economical requirements (or none at all), and usually grant the person various entries during it's lifetime as long as there is some goods intended to be traded or being traded.

-HUMANITARIAN VISAS-

The United States government is not the cold-hearted entity it has been portrayed in some media. It grants multiple visas based on medical, mental, social, and even moral reasons. These visas are usually not subjected to any numerical limitations like others.
